Online shops

Online shops that sell — and get found.

We plan, design and develop online shops with Shopify, Craft Commerce and WooCommerce — from product structure to day-to-day operation. For small retailers, manufacturers selling direct and B2B, in Austria and across Europe.

Products that search engines and AI assistants can identify unambiguously, a checkout without hurdles and integrations that avoid duplicate work: that is what matters. Which system fits is decided by your product range — not by our preference.

01 — Shop systems

Which shop system suits your business?

That depends on your product range, markets and existing software. We work with three systems and recommend the one that puts the least load on your business.

01

Shopify

Quick to launch, reliably hosted, strong for selling across countries, languages and currencies. Ideal when the shop is the centre of the business.

02

Craft Commerce

Shop and website in one system, freely designed and without per-sale platform fees. Ideal for content-rich shops with their own processes.

03

WooCommerce

The shop extension for WordPress. Sensible when a WordPress website already exists and a shop is to be added.

02 — Scope

What is included in an online shop from LX?

Payments & shipping

Stripe, PayPal, Klarna and other payment methods; shipping rules, zones and carriers.

Inventory & ERP

Integration with inventory, ERP and accounting — stock, prices and orders without double entry.

Compliant checkout

Checkout copy, mandatory information, right of withdrawal and price information under Austrian and EU law.

Multilingual & B2B

Multiple languages, countries and currencies; B2B area with customer groups, own prices and purchase on account.

03 — Process

How does an online shop project with us work?

01

Understand

Product range, markets, payment and shipping, existing systems. Result: a system recommendation and a written effort estimate.

02

Design

Categories, product pages and checkout are developed on your real products and copy, not placeholders.

03

Build

Implementation, integrations, product data following schema.org, test orders with every payment method, handover with training.

04

Support

Operation, updates, analytics and continuous improvement. Shop, domains and data remain yours throughout.

05 — FAQ

Frequently asked questions about online shops

What does an online shop from LX cost?

Usually 50 to 100 percent more than a comparable website — depending on product range, integrations and markets. After the free initial call you receive a written estimate; the concept phase is offered at a fixed price.

Shopify, Craft Commerce or WooCommerce — which fits?

Shopify for a quick start and selling across countries, Craft Commerce for content-rich shops with their own processes, WooCommerce when WordPress is already in use. We recommend based on product range, markets and existing systems.

Can the shop be connected to our inventory system?

Yes. We connect shops to inventory, ERP and accounting so that stock, prices and orders are not entered twice. Which integration is possible we clarify in the initial review.

Do you also build B2B shops?

Yes — as a separate shop or as a protected area within an existing shop, with customer groups, own prices and purchase on account. One example is the Shopify shop of DANIT with its B2B area.
